Gal Gadot is a beautiful Israeli actress. Her popularity increased after becoming the main character in the superhero film, Wonder Woman. Previously, Gal Gadot was also known after starring in the Fast & Furious franchise films 6 and 7 as Giselle. There are a number of interesting facts about Gal Gadot. Here are some of them: 

1. Ever won a beauty contest 

In 2004, when Gal Gadot was 18 years old, she entered a beauty pageant in her country. She won as Miss Israel. However, when competing in the next beauty pageant, miss universe to represent his country, Gal Gadot deliberately didn't win because he felt he didn't fit in a beauty contest. Gal Gadot has a unique meaning. His first name, Gal, means wave in Hebrew. While his last name, Gadot, means river. So the name Gal Gadot means 'river wave'. 

5. First woman outside the US to play Wonder Woman 

The Wonder Woman character was played by Cathy Lee Crosby, Lynda Carter, Adrianne Palicki, and Rileah Vanderbilt. The four actresses are from the United States. This makes Gal Gadot the first Wonder Woman actor outside of a US citizen.
